Starting today and running for the next 30 days or so you can expect daytime slowdowns on West Marine View Drive in the area of Lombardi’s Italian Restaurant.

This is happening Monday – Friday from 6 AM to 2 PM.

Lombardi’s Italian, Inn at Port Gardner, West Marine and the other businesses in the area are all open and accessible during the construction.

Here are the details from the City of Everett.

Drivers should plan for closures of West Marine View Drive from south of Lombardi’s parking lot to north of the Grand Avenue Park Bridge construction site beginning Monday, June 11.

Crews will reduce the roadway to one lane, with flaggers stationed north and south of the closure to alternate traffic through the work zone.

The closure will be in place from 6 a.m. to 2 p.m. Monday through Friday, and will be in effect for approximately 30 days. All lanes will reopen each day at 2 p.m.

Crews are installing sewer and stormwater lines as part of the Grand Avenue Park Bridge project. During work hours, construction noise and truck traffic can be expected.
