Lane Closures Bring Slowdowns To West Marine View Drive Near Lombardi’s

June 11, 2018

The work is happening Monday – Friday 6 AM – 2 PM. This is the view coming southbound.

The right lane northbound can back up but access to Lombardi’s, Marina Village and the Navy Base is good.

Workers are busy on the elevator shaft and pipe supports.

Pipes coming out beneath Grand Avenue Park will stretch over the railroad tracks to the tower north of Lombardi’s.

Lombardi’s is open during the construction. Come in from the south off 18th.

Starting today and running for the next 30 days or so you can expect daytime slowdowns on West Marine View Drive in the area of Lombardi’s Italian Restaurant.

This is happening Monday – Friday from 6 AM to 2 PM.

Lombardi’s Italian, Inn at Port Gardner, West Marine and the other businesses in the area are all open and accessible during the construction.

Here are the details from the City of Everett.

Drivers should plan for closures of West Marine View Drive from south of Lombardi’s parking lot to north of the Grand Avenue Park Bridge construction site beginning Monday, June 11.

Crews will reduce the roadway to one lane, with flaggers stationed north and south of the closure to alternate traffic through the work zone.

The closure will be in place from 6 a.m. to 2 p.m. Monday through Friday, and will be in effect for approximately 30 days. All lanes will reopen each day at 2 p.m.

Crews are installing sewer and stormwater lines as part of the Grand Avenue Park Bridge project. During work hours, construction noise and truck traffic can be expected.
