Everett’s New Arena Football Team Off to a Rough Start

The Washington Wolfpack, Everett’s new Arena Football League team, hosted their first-ever home game yesterday in the Angel of the Winds arena. It didn’t go as they hoped, after posting a 49-12 loss to the Rapid City Marshalls.

Their first game was an away game against the Oregon Black Bears where they posted a 40 to 47 loss.

The Washington Wolfpack includes some local player names you may recognize, including:

    • Austin Joyner, former UW player and Marysville Pilchuck High School phenom
    • Brandon Wellington, former UW safety
    • Rodney Raines, former Everett Royals QB
    • Tanner Fahey, former Lynnwood High player
