Pedestrian Out Of Crosswalk Hit On Everett Mall Way

The woman did not appear to be in the crosswalk when she was struck.


The force of the crash knocked the woman out of her shoes.


Medics transported the woman to Providence.


Traffic detectives were called to investigate the crash.

A woman was rushed by medic unit to Providence Regional Medical Center in Everett this morning after being hit by a car on Everett Mall Way near the Jack in the Box.

It happened around 7:30 AM when it was still dark and raining heavily.

The woman was in the middle of the intersection and outside of the marked crosswalk.

The driver stayed on scene and is cooperating with Everett Police.

No word at this time on the condition of the woman.
