The Everett Farmers Market (EFM)is asking local artists to design the 2018 Seasonal Poster with a prize of $250.00 paid to the winner. Announcement of the winning entry will be on January 31, 2018.
Deadline for artwork is midnight, Saturday, December 30, 2017. A jury will select five finalists from submitted designs, and their art will be on display at http://everettfarmersmarket.com during the month of January for the community to vote on.
The EFM is most interested in a scene that best represents the Market in terms of items one may find there including, but not limited to local food, farmers and farms, flowers, artistry, or anything connected to the bounty of fresh, nutritious local food, and the local food economy. Health, happiness, experience, music, community, and harvest are just a few of the ideas to incorporate into your scene. We are open to the possibilities. Be creative! Drawings, paintings, graphic art, photography, whatever your media, natural or abstract, express through art what the Market means to you, and the surrounding local community.
