Police Blotter

This in from the Facebook page of police in Everett, Washington who say an officer was able to use social media skills to nab a serial exposer.

Over the past 8 months, EPD and Everett Park Rangers have received multiple reports of a male in a vehicle exposing and touching himself while watching women in several North Everett public areas. The description of the male given by all of the victims was consistent and it appeared the male was using two different vehicles.

Some of the victims were able to provide a license plate for the vehicles and it was discovered the registered owner of the vehicles matched the description provided. Through investigation, probable cause was developed for the male.

A tech-savvy officer was able to contact the male via social media and set a meet-up. When the male arrived in one of the vehicles described by victims, he was arrested by our Anti-Crime Team and later booked into the Snohomish County Jail on six counts of Indecent Exposure with Sexual Motivation.

This was a great collaborative effort by Everett Park Rangers and EPD Officers in tying the cases together. Outstanding work by all involved!
