The event is free for college and high school students.

Know a student enrolled in High School or College with a talent for computer programming?

CougHacks is a 24-hour software centric event organized by WSU Everett in which small teams of students work towards solving problems.

It is free for all participants but you do have to be a current High School or College student. You also do have to register in advance and can do so by clicking here.

You do not need to be an expert programmer to participate, just bring a desire to learn more about technology! Hardware will not be provided to participants, so bring a laptop.

The event begins February 1st at 10 am and continues through the 2nd until 1 pm at the WSU Everett campus at 915 North Broadway in north Everett.

Participants are encouraged to stay for the entire event to submit their project for judging and be eligible for prizes.

All food and drink will be provided throughout the event. Sponsors will be onsite for recruitment opportunities and there will be a midnight Smash Bros tournament.

Teams can have up to 4 members. You can prearrange teams prior to the event or we can help teams form as projects begin.

Keep an eye on your inbox as February 1st approaches. Organizers will be sending updates on challenge tracks, prizes, and event details.
