The forecasters said Saturday snow in Everett, Washington would be just a dusting but there’s been enough in the south end to cause multiple crashes. We’ve gotten a fairly steady stream of very light snow for more than two hours at our Worldwide International News Headquarters in central Everett.
Even the light snow is sticking due to the frozen ground.
The were a half-dozen crashes on Evergreen Way between 79th and the south city limits during a one hour period Saturday morning. Most were rear-end type collisions. No major injures but a couple of people have been taken to Providence Regional Medical Center.
Additional snow is in the forecast for Everett tonight into Sunday then turning to rain Sunday afternoon. The best advice for those who hate driving in the snow…Don’t.
