Colby Blocked After Everett Shooting

2:30 AM Editor’s Update: Everett Police Spokesman Aaron Snell tells MyEverettNews.com that police discovered a male adult deceased inside the house. Major Crime Detectives are preparing a search warrant to look for evidence.

Major Crimes detectives speak with patrol officers outside of the house.

1:45 AM, Initial report: Colby blocked between 41st and 43rd street for about an hour and a half this morning while Everett Police looked for clues and suspects in a shooting.

Everett Police received reports of shots fired right around midnight from the area of a house just south of 41st and Colby.

A K-9 was used to check the area and Sheriff’s deputies joined Everett Police in a search.

Everett Police Major Crimes detectives have now taken over the scene at the house and Colby has been re-opened.

No other details are available at this early stage of the investigation.
