2:30 AM Editor’s Update: Everett Police Spokesman Aaron Snell tells MyEverettNews.com that police discovered a male adult deceased inside the house. Major Crime Detectives are preparing a search warrant to look for evidence.
Colby was shut down between 41st and 43rd after reports of shots fired.
Everett Police and Firefighters outside of the house just south of Ivar’s at 41st and Colby.
A K-9 unit was brought in from the Sheriff’s office to assist Everett Police.

Everett Police received reports of shots fired right around midnight from the area of a house just south of 41st and Colby.
A K-9 was used to check the area and Sheriff’s deputies joined Everett Police in a search.
Everett Police Major Crimes detectives have now taken over the scene at the house and Colby has been re-opened.
No other details are available at this early stage of the investigation.
