Former Circuit City on Everett Mall Way to become Furniture Factory Direct on Nov. 1st

On Tuesday, we told you about Wal-Mart purchasing the former Top Foods store on Everett Mall Way. On October 6th we wrote about Hobby Lobby taking over the space of the former Cost Cutter and now the former Circuit City at 510 SW Everett Mall Way is about to become a Furniture Factory Direct store. It’s the first north end location for the Kent based chain that currently has stores in Tukwila, Tacoma and Lacey. Furniture Factory Direct General Manager Brad Stone says the former Circuit City store is a little smaller in size than their other stores, “We’re trying a new model here but the Everett market fits us well. There’s a lot of growth, new businesses replacing old and we wanted to target an area with higher energy.” Stone says the new store is set to open November 1st and will employ 10 people to start.
