Silvertips players and coaches will be wearing special Pink The Rink game jerseys which will then be auctioned off to raise funds for the Providence General Foundation.

Tomorrow night the Everett Silvertips will host their 3rd annual “Pink The Rink” game against the Seattle Thunderbirds. Combined proceeds from the last two “Pink The Rink” games have raised more than $50,000.00 for the Providence General Foundation with the money going to provide free mammograms and other services for local women with no insurance or means to pay for early breast cancer detection. There are different fund-raising packages that include a ticket, donation and t-shirt as well as autographed “Pink The Rink” hockey sticks for sale, an auction of special pink game worn jerseys and a special goalie mask that will be up for auction as well. You can place bids and get all the details on the Silvertips website.
