The weather folks say it will be sunny and in the 70s. While you may not be able to go on-base at Naval Station Everett, there are plenty of things happening right here within the City of Everett for you and your family. Here’s a partial list, for a more complete line-up click here.
8:30am YMCA Yankee Doodle Dash in downtown Everett
11:00am, Colors of Freedom Parade in downtown Everett
12:00pm, Everett Children’s Museum features a patriotic theme with free admission for military families and Buy One Get One for general public
12:00pm – 4:00pm, Open House at Everett Police Department
1:00pm – 3:00pm, Street Fair at Pacific and Wetmore
1:00pm – 11:00pm, Freedom Festival at Legion Memorial Park with live music, food booths, family activities and best view of the fireworks. No parking on-site, take a free shuttle from EVCC or Everett Station
7:05pm, Everett Aquasox Baseball and post game fireworks show at Everett Memorial Stadium.
10:20pm, Thunder on the Bay Fireworks over Port Gardner Bay, Best viewing from Legion Park. Also good viewing from Grand Avenue Park, Everett Waterfront and usually good views from Harborview Park as well.
Just a reminder that fireworks of any kind are illegal within the Everett City limits and extra police and fire patrols will be out and about. Have a safe and happy 4th of July in Everett, WA
