No Injuries But Multiple Units Damaged After Fire At Farwest Motel In Everett, Washington Friday Night

Initial Report Saturday 12/16/2023 12:45 AM: Just after 11:00 PM Friday night Sno911 began receiving reports of a fire at the Farwest Motel in the 6000 block of Evergreen Way in Everett, Washington.

Arriving Everett Firefighters found smoke and flames coming from the building nearest Evergreen Way and upgraded the call to a confirmed commercial fire bringing in crews from Mukilteo and South County to assist.

Everett Firefighters were able to quickly get water on the fire and knock down the flames.

Residents were able to evacuate safely and as of this writing there were no reports of injuries.

An investigator with Everett Fire has been called to the scene to try and determine a cause.

The Snohomish County Chapter of the American Red Cross was called to assist eight residents who were displaced as multiple units were damaged.

Evergreen Way was closed in both directions between Pecks Drive and 57th street for about an hour and a half.
