T-Bone Crash Shuts 19th SE In Eastmont Neighborhood Of South Everett

The impact was considerable, but according to Everett Police a driver suffered injuries that were considered serious, but not life threatening in a crash on 19th SE near Burley Drive Sunday night.

Witnesses reported a black Mercedes travelling at high speed northbound on 19th SE when it crashed into a silver Ford Explorer.

The driver of the Explorer was transported by a Medic Unit from Everett Fire to Providence Hospital in Everett and the driver of the Mercedes was taken by ambulance.

Due to the damage at the scene and complexity of the investigation in determining the speed of the causing vehicle, detectives with the Everett Police Department Traffic Safety Unit were called out.

19th SE was shut down southbound at Everett Mall Way and northbound at Burley Drive.

That detour lasted about two hours.
