Just after 3:00 PM today Sno911 received a callt from a resident in the 9900 block of 1st place west reporting they had a fire on their porch.
The residents were able to evacuate safely and there were no injuries,
Crews from Everett’s station 6 were first on scene and reported smoke and flames coming from a second story and extending to a third.
Firefighters from South County Fire provided mutual aid to Everett Firefighters.
The unit suffered smoke and water damage. As of this writing an investigator with Everett Fire is on scene working to determine the cause.
Everett Fire is asking people to be extremely cautious during this extreme heat warning period that is expected to continue through Thursday.
