Police Investigating Shooting Near Pacific And Smith In Everett, Washington

Investigators placed multiple evidence markers in the intersection of Pacific and Smith.

Major Crimes Detectives and members of the Everett Police Department’s Violent Crimes Unit are investigating after a teen was shot in the area of Pacific and Smith streets around 4:15 PM this afternoon.

The victim was taken by ambulance to an Everett hospital with wounds described by Everett Police as non-life threatening.

Eastbound Pacific was closed between Broadway and Smith Streets and Smith closed between Pacific and 32nd.

Officers could be seen placing a large number of evidence markers in the area of Pacific and Smith.

Traffic approaching the area reached big bottlenecks as drivers in the afternoon commute had to find ways around the street closures.

Everett Station remained open and operating and other than traffic issues in the neighborhood, the station was not affected.

Everett Police say the shooting suspects left the scene in a light colored sedan.
