Everett Firefighters Make Great Knockdown On Porch Fire

June 6, 2021

Everett Fire

Fast work by Everett Firefighters kept a porch fire from spreading into a house in central Everett Saturday night.

Just after 10:30 PM Sno911 received calls of a fire on the deck of a house on 63rd street SE.

Engine 5 was the first company to arrive and found heavy fire coming from the back porch.

They were able to get a good knock down on the fire and arriving crews assisted with keeping the fire from spreading into the main portion of the house.

The people in the house were able to safely exit and there were no injuries.

At this writing (shortly after midnight) an investigator was coming to the house to work on determining the cause of the fire.
