PUD Explains What Happens When You Report The Power Is Out

October 9, 2018

Everett

It’s that time of year again when the power may suddenly go out. Snohomish PUD has made some recent improvements to their power outage reporting system and online outage map. First, here is a great graphic from Snohomish PUD on what happens when you report a power outage. Click on graphic to enlarge.

The PUD has also made changes to their online outage center, including adding a form to easily report outages from a computer, tablet or smartphone. Just enter an address, name and phone number.

The map has an improved look-and-feel and better data displays. It’s another useful tool to bring more self-service options to PUD customers.

You can check it out on this page of the PUD website. They also have several videos and tutorials on how to use their tools and reporting systems. Finally write this number down and keep it in a safe place, (425) 783-1001. That’s the phone number to report power outages the old fashioned way.
