Deck Fire Quickly Stopped at North Everett Home.

Everett Firefighters quickly stopped a fire on a back deck from spreading into the upper area of a house that had been converted into a duplex on Hoyt Saturday night. Firefighters got the call a little after 7:00pm to the 1700 block of Hoyt. Crews from Engine 2 were able to knock the fire down. No word yet on the cause and the damage appeared to be limited to furniture and a small area on the back porch. There were no injuries.
