Police Crash In Everett

Editor’s Update 3:00 PM: Everett Police say only one of their vehicles was involved in a crash at 526 and Everett Mall Way. Everett Police Spokesman Aaron Snell tells MyEverettNews.com that multiple Everett Police vehicles were responding to a possible shots fired call at Kamiak High. As the vehicles with lights and siren on were coming to the intersection a truck went through a light and hit an Everett Police pickup truck. The officer was taken to Providence to be checked and the pickup driver stopped and was cooperating with police. No citations have been issued and the crash remains under investigation.
The driver of this truck was taken to Providence Regional Medical Center.
An Everett Police officer was taken to Providence Regional Medical Center after a crash this morning at 526 and Everett Mall Way. The officer’s injuries were not thought to be life threatening. An investigation is underway. We’ll update with more as details become available.
