The SUV struck a large rock and knocked over this light pole.
There was extensive damage to the SUV.
The pole made for a dangerous situation.
The light pole was barely hanging on by a thread.
Shortly before 1:00 PM, 9-1-1 received multiple calls reporting an SUV had knocked over a light pole. Not sure if the driver had a medical problem but witnesses reported the woman slumped over the wheel of the SUV.
Medics from District 7 provided mutual aid to Everett Fire and transported the woman to the hospital
Witnesses said the SUV was driving erratically and went up on the shopping center sidewalk, hit the liquor store front door and window, smashed into the back of an Audi parked in the lot and then knocked over a light pole.
The extent of the driver’s injuries are unknown and again no word whether she had a medical issue or why she may have crashed.
