Around 2:30pm Monday a shooting occurred inside an apartment complex at 2 W Casino Rd (The Bluffs Apartments)
A 911 call alerted the Everett Police. When they arrived to the location, they found a male in his 20’s, with a gun shot wound. They immediately began administering aid and the male was transported by the Everett Fire Department to Providence with what are believed to be non life-threatening injuries.

No suspect is in custody at the time of this writing, but a search warrant has been served and there is an active search for the suspect in the apartment complex. No arrests have been made.
The suspect and victim are known to one another. The suspect has been described as a “tall, skinny black male in his 30’s.”
Children at the day care across the street, Everett KinderCare, and their parents who came to pick them up were escorted by officers.
