Two Everett Theaters Showing UW Michigan National Championship Game

Hoping to claim the national title for the first time since the 1991 season, the Washington Huskies will play Michigan at 4:30 on Monday. If you couldn’t afford the trip to Houston, but still want to be surrounded by Husky fans while you cheer on the Dawgs, you can see the game on the big screen at two different Everett venues.

Both the Historic Everett Theatre and Regal Everett will be broadcasting the game.

Cost was intended to be free at the Historic Everett Theatre, but ESPN licensing fees have brought the cost to $15 a person. The Everett Mall Regal theater will show the game in RPX at $20.99 a person with the ability to reserve a specific seat.

Many local sports bars will also be showing the game or you can watch it from the comfort of your own home (on ESPN or ESPN+). Michigan is favored by 4.5 points, but the Huskies have been defying oddsmakers all season. Both teams are undefeated. Michigan is the Big 10 champion and the University of Washington is the final Pac-12 champion. Michigan is known for its swarming defense and Washington for its prolific passing attack. Oddly enough, the last time Washington claimed the college football national title, it was a 34-14 win over Michigan in the Rose Bowl.
