Everett Firefighters Technical Rescue Skills On Display After Car Crashes Into Home In South Everett

Crews get ready to make access to the driver trapped inside.

Firefighters used their technical rescue truck, tools and skills to free a person trapped in their car following a crash Wednesday afternoon in the 7400 block of Beverly Lane in Everett, Washington.

Following a collision, a vehicle with a single occupant, clipped a power pole before slamming into the side of a home, trapping the driver.

Technical rescue crews, firefighters and medics with Everett Fire used a number of specialty tools to stabilize the car, get access to the driver and safely remove that person for transport to the hospital.
