Yep, its election time again.

Let the voting begin. Ballots are now arriving in homes for the November 7th General Election. Here’s what you need to know.

Yesterday, Snohomish County Elections mailed ballots for the Nov. 7 General Election to more than half-a-million registered voters. Ballots were mailed to military and overseas voters on Sept. 22 and to out-of-state and rural voters on Oct. 13. All eligible voters should receive their ballot no later than Wednesday, Oct. 25.

The Snohomish County Local Voters’ Pamphlet (LVP) was mailed this week to every household in the county. Earlier this month, the Secretary of State’s Office mailed a pamphlet that contains Snohomish Superior Court Judge candidate statements. A digital version of both pamphlets is available at snoco.org/elections. An online guide with candidates and measures specific to your ballot is available at VoteWA.gov

The November General Election consists of important races for local offices, such as county, judicial, city, school, water, sewer, hospital, and port districts. The ballot also contains measures for several city, fire, and EMS districts.

Voters can register or update an existing registration online or by mail through Monday, Oct. 30. After Oct. 30, voters can continue to register or make address updates and receive a ballot in person until 8 p.m. on Election Night, Tuesday, Nov. 7 at the Auditor’s Office or at an accessible voting site during specific hours.

Thirty-five ballot drop boxes will be open for the General Election to receive voted ballots including a recently installed box in Marysville near State Avenue & 116th that was relocated from the former Marysville City Hall. Drop box locations can be found at snoco.org/elections, on the insert in the ballot packet, as well as printed in the LVP.

Additionally, voters can return their ballots by mail through the U.S. Postal Service. Ballots must be postmarked by Election Day, Nov.7. Check the last collection time on the box and when in doubt, use a ballot drop box.

Snohomish County Elections has accessible voting equipment for voters with disabilities to vote independently and offers last-minute voter registration and ballot issuance at the following sites during the hours listed:
