Original report Saturday June 24th. Two people were transported to Providence Regional Hospital in critical condition and a third in stable following a report of three people overdosing in a north Everett, Washington apartment at the same time. Here’s the information provided by Everett Fire Saturday night.

Everett Firefighters are just clearing the scene of a multi casualty incident (MCI) at the Vintage Apartments – 1001 E Marine View Drive after three subjects overdosed.

At 8pm this evening, Everett Fire was dispatched to the Vintage Apartments for a report of multiple people overdosing in an apartment. Fire crews arrived on scene to find three patients in one of the apartments and immediately started providing life-saving care, including administering NARCAN.

Because overdoses stop people from breathing, first responders use oxygen, artificial ventalation, and other respiratory support to try and prevent death.

A total of three patients were transported to Providence Regional Medical Center Everett – two in critical condition and one in stable condition.

Due to the number of patients, the incident was upgraded to a Multiple Casualty Incident (MCI) which brought mutual aid assistance from South County Fire, Snohomish Regional Fire & Rescue and Snohomish County Fire District #22. Everett Police Department officers also assisted on scene.
