Three Injured In House Fire On Broadway In Everett, Washington

Editor’s Update 12:15 PM: Per Everett Fire all three victims are now at Harborview Hospital in Seattle and listed in critical condition.

There were a total of five people living in the house at the time of the fire.

Three people were injured in an early morning house fire in the 3400 block of Broadway in Everett, Washington early Wednesday morning.

According to Everett Fire, crews were called to the home to reports of a fire around 4:14 AM.

The first engine in found fire conditions and called for additional resources. The fire was upgraded to a second alarm bringing units from area agencies to assist.

Firefighters rescued two occupants from the house, one was in a wheelchair, a third occupant evacuated on their own. Total of 3 patients have been transported – 2 to Harborview and 1 to Providence – all in critical condition. Red Cross has been called to assist 2 others.

The cause of the fire is under investigation. Broadway has not yet reopened as the time of this report (6:15 AM).
