No Injuries In North Everett House Fire

Smoke was reported coming from the eaves of the home.

A ladder company works to access the roof.

The crew from Ladder 1 opens up the roof to vent the smoke and heat.

Around 1:45 PM Sunday afternoon Everett Firefighters were called to a house in the 2100 block of Grand Avenue in north Everett, Washington for reports of heavy dark smoke coming out of the top of the house.

Arriving crews saw smoke coming out of the eaves under the roof.

A ladder truck put a crew on the roof to vent the smoke while another crew entered the home to attack the fire from the interior.

Firefighters were able to get the fire under control quickly but the home suffered smoke and water damage.

There were no injuries and at this writing an investigator was on scene working to determine the cause of the fire.
