March Events At Everett’s Apex Art & Culture Center Include Live Music & Joel Childs (Chef Behind The Curtain) 5-Course Dinner

Progress continues at Apex Art and Culture Center in downtown Everett, Washington following their sold-out show last month featuring Hell’s Belles and The Grizzled Mighty. Two exciting public events are coming up this month.

Event #1: The Everett Music Initiative is partnering with Apex to bring a Pacific Northwest Fleetwood Mac Tribute, “The Little Lies” to King’s Hall on St. Patrick’s Day March 17th for one show. Opening for “The Little Lies” will be Road Trips.

Those who attended the “Rock the Fourth” show at the Port of Everett’s Boxcar Park on the 4th of July got a chance to see both groups. Now they’re back in Everett for St. Patrick’s Day.

Doors at 6:30pm, Road Trips at 7:30pm, The Little Lies at 9:30pm. Tickets are $25.00 ($28.63 with fees) and there may be VIP tickets still available with balcony seating and table service.

Event #2:The second event coming up Friday March 31st and Saturday April 1st is a chance to experience a five-course dinner, paired with wines from a local winery.

Chef Joel Childs, formally known as the Chef Behind the Curtain, will preview what will be on menu at 16Eleven, the high-end steakhouse that will be opening this Spring in the APEX Art and Culture Center located in the heart of downtown Everett, Washington.

This will be an amazing evening with food, drinks and artwork in a setting unlike anything you’ll find in the Pacific Northwest.

Chef Joel is excited to showcase his restaurant team and to provide a peek into the dining experience soon to change dining in Everett.

Here is the Menu for this exclusive five course dinner

  • Chilled mint pea soup/Bread and butter/ house made hazel nut oil marinade.
  • Vol a von/ Leek/ pancetta/popcorn
  • Cod/Larded/glazed/Cured/Hibachi Grilled/Seabeans/Hollandaise
  • Dry aged New York/mushroom Tapenade/Celery root puree/Black garlic demi
  • Pana-cotta, Cot and candy, Shortbread, Rhubarb batons, gin/raspberry/lavender gel
