Nimbus Apartments Opens In Downtown Everett

Had a chance to tour the new Nimbus Apartments in downtown Everett, Washington and chat with Dynasty Williams, the property manager. He’s an impressive person who just turned 25 years old but has managed high-end properties in New York, California and whose most recent stint was in downtown Bellevue.

“I work with an amazing team here in Everett,” Dynasty told me. “In just three months we’re sixty-five percent rented and fifty-nine percent occupied, this is such a great property.”

With 165 units there’s a mix of studio, one bedroom and two bedroom apartments. Right now including promotional pricing, rents range from $1200 – $2800 a month.

There’s a high-tech feel to the apartments with a fob or phone to open the front door, the ability to make a virtual key for your guests or service people like dog-walker and a secure package room to receive deliveries.

On site is a co-working space with a coffee bar, a fitness center with the latest equipment including smart mirrors, secure bike storage and repair room and two secure garages. There’s a screen near the main entrance with the latest bus schedules and travel times displayed and links to multiple transportation options.

There are multiple gathering spaces including kitchens, fireplaces and even classic video games.

The rooftop garden has amazing views of the Olympic Mountains and Port Gardner Bay to the west and the Cascade Range to the east. There’s also barbecues and fire pits on the rooftop space.

“A lot of apartments just give people what they need,” Dynasty told me with a smile. “Here we elevate it.”

He says the majority of tenants range in age from their mid twenties to their mid forties. Many are in the Navy or work at Naval Station Everett. There are also new Boeing employees as well as a mix of professionals who work in Everett, Lynnwood and Marysville.

I asked him if people were concerned about the price? “When they walk in and see the quality and amenities they overcome any sticker shock.” he said. “Especially when compared to the Eastside or Seattle with the same amenities.”

There are units that have enclosed patios, top and bottom floor units have high ceilings, all of the apartments have large washers and dryers, triple-pane tilt-in windows and air conditioning. There is also 24-hour on site management and maintenance.
