A crash between a motorhome and a commercial vehicle has tied up traffic for hours on northbound I-5 just north of the Everett Mall. According to the Washington State Patrol the crash happened around ten minutes after 11:00 AM. The crash site left debris for quite a distance between Highway 526 and just south of 75th street.

Everett Fire says two people in the motorhome suffered serious injuries and one was trapped and pinned inside. Both were transported to the hospital.

As of 3 PM two lanes were blocked as crews from WSDOT cleared debris. Traffic was backed up for more than four miles and has been crawling from 128th north to the scene.
