About Everett 2044
The City’s comprehensive plan is our “road map” to the community’s vision for the future of Everett and is periodically updated to reflect changing conditions. As Everett’s population grows, we’ll be updating our comprehensive plan to layout the next 20 years: Everett 2044. Community members are invited to join us in this important work to learn, share ideas and priorities, and provide feedback.
The plan includes goals, policies and objectives guiding public policy decisions affecting quality of life including how land is used for housing, economic growth, transportation systems, utilities, parks, and environmental sustainability; how development regulations are interpreted by planning staff when options are available; and how public projects are designed, financed, and implemented.
Please join us to learn more about comprehensive planning and what it involves, view the project timeline and document library, and find ways to get involved including community meetings and surveys.
