Wintertide isn’t just one event and its not limited to downtown Everett but encompasses all the ways people in Everett, Washington can enjoy holiday cheer including celebrations with friends and neighbors, special shopping opportunities, music, events, merriment, experiences and more lasting all the way into the New Year.
 
While the weather this week has been challenging City of Everett Public Works Crews have been working hard to make things accessible.

WINTERTIDE LIGHTS 2022 Free Event, Runs through December 31st, 4-8 PM
Evergreen Arboretum and Gardens in Legion Park, 145 Alverson Blvd in Everett

Book Walk on the paths: “The Mitten” by Jan Brett

Evergreen Arboretum and Gardens transforms into a wonderland of lights throughout December, free for everyone from 4 to 8 PM. A special Book Walk courtesy of Everett Public Library features “The Mitten” by Jan Brett. The Arboretum is located in Everett’s American Legion Park at 145 Alverson Blvd
 
Pacific Ice Community Ice Rink Ongoing through January 9th at Port of Everett’s Waterfront Place

Enjoy a public skating session or book the rink for your own event!

The ‘Pacific Ice’ community ice rink is located at the Port’s Pacific Rim Plaza in Fisherman’s Harbor, just in front of Hotel Indigo’s Jetty Bar & Grille and steps from the new Grand Avenue Park Bridge. The family-friendly program runs daily through January 9th, 2023 with public ice skating sessions! Extended hours are happening from 10:00 AM – 10:00 PM through the end of the year weather permitting.

At Pacific Ice, guests will enjoy a truly unique experience of skating on real ice at a covered, partially open air rink overlooking the Port of Everett Marina. Holiday lights, music and a handful of concessionaires will add to the whimsical atmosphere!

Merchants throughout Everett have been impacted by the weather and if you can’t get out to see them personally, most have an online presence and many shops and restaurants offer gift cards and certificates so you can order and have access to your gift right away. Give a dinner out, treat someone to an experience they may not normally think of for themself. How about a gift certificate from one of the many art galleries or makers located throughout the city? Make a reservation at a favorite spot for New Year’s Eve in Everett and slip the confirmation into their stocking. Click shop, treat, enjoy.
