Initial Report 11:45 PM: It’s an active event so not a lot of information is available at this early stage, but Everett Police are investigating after a person was shot in the 11800 block of Evergreen Way in south Everett Friday night.

Sno911 received calls of a reported shooting about 10:20 PM. Everett Police and Snohomish County Sheriff’s Deputies responded.

Arriving officers found a person at the convenience store at that location who had been shot and began administering aid.

Medics were called and the person was transported to the hospital. No word at this time on their condition.

A K-9 unit attempted a suspect track but at the time of this writing no suspects had been taken into custody.

The store is in the Everett city limits so Everett Police Major Crime Detectives will handle the follow-up investigation.

We’ll provide more information as it is made available.

Anyone who witnessed the shooting is encouraged to call 911 or the Everett Police tip line at (425) 257-8450.
