Police Blotter

Initial report 9:30 PM:
Traffic Safety Detectives with Everett Police were called out after a serious injury crash on 112th street SE.

According to Everett Police spokesman Kerby Duncan about 7:40 PM a black Mercedes was westbound on 112th when it collided with a small red passenger car at the intersection of 1st Avenue SE.

The Mercedes suffered heavy front-end damage while the red passenger car looked to be cut in half.

Two people were taken to Providence Regional Medical Center with life-threatening injuries. A third person was also transported to be checked out.

112th has been closed between 2nd Avenue SE and Meridian Avenue South for the investigation.

Duncan says speed and dui appear to be contributing factors.

No word on when the road will be re-opened as the investigation continues.
