Danny Rabelos Named New Recruitment Officer For Everett Police

With the retirement of Meg DiBucci, who left EPD in December and is now Program/Services Director at Behind the Badge Foundation, the Everett Police Department has named Danny Rabelos a 23-year veteran of the department as their new recruitment officer. Here’s more about Rabelos and a look at what the position of police officer in the city of Everett, Washington currently pays for both new and experienced officers as posted by EPD today on social media.

We are hiring and we are so committed to getting new officers on the road that we have a new recruitment officer! Meet Officer Danny Rabelos, he took on the role of the full-time recruitment officer last month and is excited to help you find your new career!

Danny is a 23-year veteran with Everett PD and knows this department inside and out. Before refocusing his efforts on finding us great new officers, he worked patrol for 9 years, was a K9 handler for 4 years, and spent a whopping 10 years as a detective. Entry Level, BLEA certified, Lateral positions are all currently open for the city of Everett Police!
 
**Entry Level applicants GED or high school diploma required.
-Base pay of $81,408 per year.
-Second year base wage of $89,148 with up to additional 11% incentive for college incentive.
-Third year base pay $106,692 with up to additional 11% incentive for college incentive.
 
**Lateral applications are eligible for up to $30,000 incentive. (No physical agility test required)
-Up to $106,692 base pay for lateral officers, not counting additional incentives which can be an additional 13% with longevity or college.
-Pre-load of 80 hours of vacation and 80 hours of sick time
-$7500 Relocation assistance if moving from outside of Snohomish County
-Earn vacation and sick time at level of experience in law enforcement
