Training To Affect Operations At Naval Station Everett Tuesday

There may be some slight delays at the gate and unusual activity Tuesday.

Naval Station Everett will be conducting a training exercise at the Everett main base on Tuesday, Oct. 26. The exercise is scheduled to occur between 9 a.m. and 2 p.m.

Those who access the base regularly should expect intermittent closures at the North gate throughout the exercise.

Those nearby may hear mass warning announcements from the base’s outdoor speakers or see active emergency response vehicles.

The Navy regularly conducts training exercises to maintain and improve security and emergency response qualifications. These exercises help prepare for a real emergency and enhance coordination with mutual aid partners.
