Special Weather Statement Issued For Everett At 3PM By National Weather Service

6:45 PM Update: Shortly after 6:00PM Sunday night the National Weather Service issued the following bulleting that included Everett, Washington.

Everett and Vicinity-Hood Canal Area-
Including the cities of Everett, Edmonds, Lynnwood, Marysville and Shelton-607 PM PDT Sun Oct 24 2021

…WIND ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 6 AM PDT MONDAY…

* WHAT…Southeast winds 25 to 35 mph with gusts up to 50 mph.

* WHERE…Hood Canal Area and Everett and Vicinity.

* WHEN…Until 6 AM PDT Monday.

* IMPACTS…Gusty winds could blow around unsecured objects. Tree limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may result.

4:45 PM Update: Things have calmed down considerably with some scattered power outages around Everett. The earlier weather alert has passed.

At 3:00 PM winds really started picking up in Everett, Washington and the National Weather Service issued the following Special Weather Statement valid until 3:30 PM
