Face Coverings Now Required In All City Of Everett Buildings

No word on how long the new mandate will be in effect.

Early last week the City of Everett, Washington declared that all visitors to the two library branches must wear face coverings whether vaccinated or not.

On Friday Everett Mayor Cassie Franklin expanded that order to all City of Everett buildings.

Here’s the notice she posted on Facebook.

The delta variant of COVID-19 is driving a rapid increase in infections and hospitalizations throughout the state, including here in Everett. To ensure the health and safety of our staff and visitors, we’re now requiring that masks be worn inside all city buildings. Be safe and be well.
