Police Investigating Injury Hit & Run In South Everett

Police say the driver of this Honda ran away after the crash.

Firefighters had to use multiple tools to free the driver of this car.

The driver of the Toyota Tacoma was transported by ambulance to Providence Regional Medical Center.

Firefighters had to peel away the side of the vehicle to get access to the driver.

Detectives from the Everett Police Traffic Safety Unit were called out Saturday morning to investigate an injury hit and run crash in the 200 block of West Casino Road.

EPD Public Information Officer Kerby Duncan tells MyEverettNews.com initial reports are shortly after 7 AM a red Honda and Silver Toyota Tacoma were eastbound on Casino when the Honda lost control and ran into the truck sending it into the westbound land where it hit head-on with a Lexus.

The driver of the Lexus was trapped in their vehicle and Everett Fire Crews had to use multiple rescue tools to free person who was taken by medic unit to Providence Regional Medical Center.

The driver of the Honda reportedly was seen running from the scene on foot.

All westbound lanes of Casino were shut down until just before 11 AM while traffic detectives conducted their investigation at the scene.
