School Vote Results Show Everett Construction Bond Failing, Levy Passing

Voter turnout was just 24.74% in this election.

After tonight’s update from the Snohomish County Auditor’s Office it looks like the Capital Improvement and School Construction General Obligation Bonds – $330,600,000 is not going to reach the 60% yes votes needed to pass.
The latest numbers show Approved – 54.21% Rejected – 44.77%

The Replacement of Expiring Educational Programs and Operations Levy is passing with the latest numbers showing
Levy Yes – 54.08% Levy No – 45.92% It only needed a simple majority to pass.

In the Mukilteo School District both Replacement of Educational Programs Levy and the Technology Capital Projects Levy are passing. Both only needed a simple majority.
