Valentine’s Day Kitchen Fire At Anthony’s Woodfire Grill

Valentine’s Day is normally slammed for restaurants but customers planning on heading to Anthony’s Woodfire Grill at the Port of Everett’s Marina Village are having to scramble to make new plans.

Around four o’clock this afternoon the oven system caught fire inside the kitchen of the restaurant. Smoke and flames were seen in the venting system. Everett Fire crews were able to contain the flames to the kitchen ventilation system but the restaurant will not be open for Valentine’s Dinner.

Anthony’s Homeport Restaurant in the same complex is NOT affected and will be open tonight as usual. Everett Fire crews are still on the scene as of 4:30 PM and a fire investigator has been called out to determine the cause of the fire.
