Retirement Sale At Everett Floral

After nearly three decades Cindy and Ernie Fredrickson are ready for new challenges and are selling Everett Floral. Not just the business but the land and building as well.

Everett Floral actually dates back to 1975 with Ernie and Cindy owning and operating it as their family business for the last 29 years. Cindy is looking to transition to work as a counselor while Ernie looks at relaxing a bit.

It hasn’t always been blossoms and blooms for the couple. In August of 2011 an arson fire destroyed a majority of their business and they had to rebuild almost from scratch. They always had good humor about it even putting up “Fire Sale” on their sign the day after the blaze. A 15-year-old boy was arrested for starting the fire after vandalizing a van and storage area at the back of the store. The shop reopened nine months later.
