An Everett officer takes one of the suspects up to an ambulance after that hard landing.

It took a while but a K-9 finally caught one of three people who were in a car that ran from a Washington State Patrol Trooper in Everett Thursday night.

The Trooper was following a car with reported stolen license plates just before 8:00 PM. The car was occupied by three people and headed south on Broadway.

The Trooper tried to stop the car and it refused to yield leading the Trooper on a chase in the neighborhood south of the Evergreen Cemetery.

The car took a turn onto 47th street off Colby and ended up going over an embankment, just missing a house.

Troopers found two people inside the car and a third was seen running away from the car down the interurban trail.

A K-9 was called in and after a long search all around the Evergreen Cemetery the man was contacted by the K-9 in some brush and taken into custody.

Everett Police assisted Washington State Patrol with the search and containing the suspects.

Here are some MyEverettNews.com photos of where the car landed.

After medical treatment the suspects are expected to be booked into the Snohomish County Jail by Troopers.
