Police Blotter

Editor’s Update 1:30 PM: Everett Police were able to determine that the driver did not leave the scene and was one of the people injured and transported to the hospital. That person received a citation for DUI.

The car was going north on Beverly Lane.

The crash took out some support wires for a power pole.

This short retaining wall kept the car from hitting a house.

PUD crews are working to restore power

This passenger suffered injuries and was taken to Providence by medic unit.

Two other passengers also were taken to the hospital.

The PUD was working on restoring power along Beverly Lane between Madison and Dogwood and parts west after a car hit a retaining wall early this morning.

The crash happened shortly after 4:00 AM in the 5400 Block of Beverly Lane.

A car going northbound left the road and struck a retaining wall and clipped a power pole support line. Three people in the car were taken to Providence Regional Medical Center with varying injuries.

Everett Police were told the driver of the car fled on foot. Traffic detectives have been called out to the scene and Beverly Lane is being detoured at Sunset Lane for the investigation.

We will update when we hear more. For now, here are some photos from the scene.
