Naval Station Everett Main Gate Reopens Saturday

September 1, 2016

This entrance was closed for the summer for installation of a new canopy.

They got the shelter roof up just in time for the rainy season. Naval Station Everett says the main entrance to the base will reopen this Saturday morning. It had been under construction for the last 4 months…

Naval Station Everett’s main gate will be open again for normal vehicle and pedestrian access starting on Saturday, Sept. 3 at 6 a.m. Construction on the gate started in late May and is now complete.

The patience and flexibility of personnel, local neighbors, and those who regularly access the base during the temporary closure has been greatly appreciated.

The security gate was upgraded with structural improvements, including a new canopy to provide additional weather protection for sentries.

The base’s north gate will resume access and inspection for commercial vehicles on 18th Street from West Marine View Drive.

I support our military and police! Too bad the left leaners now support the likes of Kaepernick.

I’m a Liberal and I support the rights of anyone to stand, sit, dance or lie down while any ditty is playing. I support your right to wear a flowing gown and lip-sync to Bette Midler when you think nobody’s watching.

      • anon Says:

How would you know he does that if nobody is looking?

We’ve got a peeping Zach here.

Things are getting awfully suspicious around this place.

    • Bourne Says:

The NFL should ban that self-absorbed ingrate. He stinks anyway.

You don’t get to pick and choose which freedoms people get to express. Forcing one’s belief system on another is fascism

      • Wa-fix Says:

And same with overextended government regulations which form and create unfair socialism and communism.

Yeah. Like if I want to vape. Or smoke pot. Or shoot my gun at cans.

Back off feds, quit being so nosy.

that’s a long time to build a gate. I remember back in my day we would use 8 pieces of timber and some nails and that pasture gate would be all set.
