The Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office is asking the public’s help finding an Everett man wanted in connection with a shooting south of Silver Lake last month. Here’s the information…

Major crimes detectives with the Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office are looking for 26 year-old Corey Robert Myers who was believed to be involved in an accidental shooting incident last month.  Detectives have probable cause to arrest Myers for unlawful possession of a firearm.

Myers is believed to have accidently shot a female at a resident in the 12100 block of Andrew Sater Rd on the evening of August 21st when he dropped a backpack with a gun inside, accidentally discharging the weapon.  He fled the scene prior to law enforcement arriving.  The shooting victim is still in the hospital, but expected to survive.

Myers is a convicted felon and should be considered armed and dangerous.  He is 6’07” and weighs approximately 200 lbs. with hazel eyes and dark brown hair.  He is associated with a black BMW or Honda passenger vehicle.

Anyone with information about the whereabouts of Myers should call the Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office anonymous tip line at 425-388-3845.
