Police Blotter

Got this in from the Everett Police Department this afternoon…

The Snohomish County Medical Examiner is looking into how an Everett mother and son died in their apartment

The Everett Police Department is investigating two suspicious deaths at a local apartment complex.

On August 6th, 2012 just before noon, Everett officers were dispatched to 9009 W. Mall Dr to check the welfare of a units occupants when neighbors called 911 about odors emanating from inside. Upon entry, officers found two bodies.

Due to the fact that the two had been deceased at the location for some time and as neither cause nor manner of death could be established, the Snohomish County Medical Examiner’s Office took custody of the bodies. Detectives are investigating the case as suspicious deaths and are waiting for results from the Medical Examiner’s Office to continue. At this time in the investigation foul play does not appear to be a factor in the deaths.

At 3:30 p.m. this afternoon the Snohomish County Medical Examiner’s Office identified the deceased as 50-year-old Sandra L. Williams, of Everett, and her 25-year-old son Spencer L. Williams. Cause and manner of death are still under investigation.
