Everett City Council Race to be Bader vs. Robinson in November

August 7, 2012

Everett, Everett Government

With just a handful of votes separating them, Scott Bader and June Robinson appear to be headed to the general election in November to fill the remaining term of Drew Nielsen on the Everett City Council. Nielsen passed away earlier this year in a river rafting accident. Gigi Burke was appointed by the Everett City Council to fill the open seat thru the election but did not run for the remainder of the term. Five people did run in the primary with Pete Kinch coming in a distant third in the early returns with Jon Ott and Bill Paulen trailing far behind the other three. These are just the preliminary returns but given the low voter turn out, the results should hold. You can click here to see all of tonight’s preliminary numbers from the Snohomish County Auditor’s office.
