Shooting in Downtown Everett- Update 3:00pm

Detectives have taken over the scene of a shooting at an apartment in a converted house near downtown Everett. Everett Police Public Information Officer Sgt. Robert Goetz tells me they are looking for two suspects who broke into the apartment around noon. There was gunfire, the two suspects fled and the victim was taken to Providence Everett’s Colby Campus. Goetz says they don’t have reason to believe that the gunmen will be returning to the area and neighbors shouldn’t be overly concerned for their safety.
