Aquasox 2016 Home Opener Tonight!

This year they started the season on the road but tonight the Everett Aquasox have their home opener at Everett Memorial stadium. Straight from the Aquasox, here’s everything you need to know about the opening homestand…

It promises to be another fantastic summer at the ballpark! Your Everett AquaSox are excited to reveal the 2016 Opening Week Promotional Nights. TWO firework spectaculars, a magnet schedule giveaway, AquaSox Gnome Giveaway, and Ken Griffey Jr. Plaque night.

The AquaSox opened Northwest League regular season play with back-to-back three-game series on the road against the Tri-City Dust Devils and the Vancouver Canadians.

Opening Week is presented by Tulalip Resort Casino with a five-game series against the Boise Hawks through Monday, June 27.

June 23rd is Opening Night, and the first 1,000 fans through the gates receive magnet schedules presented by Tulalip Resort Casino. What do you get when you combine baseball, kids, and summer break? Fun! The AquaSox Kids Club presented by YMCA of Snohomish County returns in 2016, as well as Kids Run the Bases after every Thursday-Sunday game (excluding firework nights). Since we love fans of all ages, fans 55 and up are invited to join the Silver Sluggers Club; members receive a ticket to every Wednesday game and a shirt for only $18 and all fans enjoy Baseball Bingo every Wednesday. Friday, June 24, is the AquaSox first post-game fireworks spectacular. In addition, June 24th is also AquaSox Gnome Giveaway night presented by Tulalip Resort Casino, where the first 500 fans 18 or older receive an AquaSox Gnome. The fun continues on Friday, June 24th, with an appearance by Daniel Smith – the Amazing Rubber Boy! Daniel holds the Guinness World Record for the “Most Flexible Man”. GET TICKETS HERE

Saturday, June 25th, the first 1,000 fans will take home a Ken Griffey Jr. Replica Plaque that honors “The Kid’s” Hall of Fame induction this summer and the landing spot of his first professional homerun here at Everett Memorial Stadium. The plaque giveaway is presented by NECA CASCADE, IBEW Local 191. Following the game on the 25th, enjoy our second post-game firework show of the season presented by Jersey Mike’s of Everett. The AquaSox added this firework show recently after making a printing error on their pocket schedules. We didn’t want to have fans come out for a fireworks night that wouldn’t occur, and Jersey Mike’s of Everett stepped in to make sure we could keep everyone happy and the fireworks popping. Bring your best Hawaiian attire to the ballpark Sunday, June 26th, for Aloha Night presented byKama’aina Grindz. Also, on June 26th the first 500 fans will receive an AquaSox T-shirt presented byCaliber Home Loans. This will also be the first Military Appreciation Sunday presented by Tulalip Beef Jerky Outlet. All service members receive $5 Upper Box Seat Tickets with their Military I.D. Webbly’s Kid’s Club is also part of Sunday festivities. Kids 12 and under can join the Kid’s Club for just $16. Club membership includes special reserved upper box seating to every 2016 Sunday home game, discounted registration to the 2016 AquaSox Baseball Camp, an exclusive Kid’s Club member t-shirt, membership card and much more. Monday, June 27th, features Inflatables Night courtesy of bouncyhouse.com where kids can have a blast while taking in a baseball game. This also marks our first Good Karma Monday of the season where you can name your price for Upper Box Tickets at every Monday home game to benefit local charities. Weekly specials, including Tasty Thursdays with $2 hot dogs, popcorn, sodas and 12 ounce Coors Lights. Also Military Sundays with discounted tickets for active and retired military also return in 2016.
